Emtone is one of the most advanced FDA-approved treatments used to reduce cellulite with a combination of radiofrequency energy and mechanical pressure. If the cellulite dimples in your thighs and buttocks make you feel self-conscious, contact Fenner Plastic Surgery for your Emtone treatment. Emtone is non-surgical, non-invasive, and requires little to no downtime or recovery, making it the perfect treatment choice for so many of our patients.

What is Emtone

Emtone is a state-of-the-art device that non-surgically and non-invasively treats cellulite dimples using radiofrequency (RF) energy and targeted mechanical pressure. Emtone is suitable for all patients with excessive or unwanted cellulite because it addresses all of the potential root causes of cellulite formation, such as the gradual loss of healthy collagen, subpar blood circulation, enlarged fat chambers, waste retention, and the formation of bulging fat tissues.

The Emtone device safely delivers 108 - 111ºF RF energy to specifically targeted locations to heat your skin tissue. The thermal energy tightens the underlying tissue and collagen fiber while simultaneously activating your body’s collagen formation capabilities, leading to taut skin. Thermal energy is just one component of the treatment—it also delivers acoustic (sound) waves to activate cellular regeneration and facilitate smooth blood circulation, smoothing fatty tissue and cellulite.

Am I a Candidate for Emtone?

You’re an ideal candidate for Emtone if you have mild to moderate cellulite that you want to eliminate without surgery. There are no restrictions on age or skin types, but you should note that this procedure is specifically meant for cellulite reduction and not for addressing excess fat tissues. We offer other treatments for that and can put together a treatment plan that accomplishes what you’re after.

Emtone Duration & Frequency

The entire Emtone procedure concludes within 20 minutes, and you can resume all your daily activities without any downtime or recovery period. However, you may need multiple treatment sessions, each spaced about a week apart. Dr. Fenner will recommend the ideal frequency of treatments based on your specific cellulite condition. In most cases, we’ll recommend 4 treatments, each spaced 1 week apart. After achieving your goals with the requisite treatments, you’ll benefit from maintenance treatments once every 3 to 12 months.

Emtone Results

Most patients notice significant results immediately after the first session, and the results will continue improving over the next several weeks as you complete successive sessions.

Emtone Safety

The Emtone device has been manufactured by one of the world’s leading innovators of radiofrequency devices. It has gone through strict clinical tests to receive FDA approval for cellulite treatment. The device also features various safety mechanisms and an auto-shutoff feature to ensure it never gets too hot or uncomfortable for the patient. In some rare cases, patients may experience hive-like symptoms and redness, but these side-effects are rare, and they dissipate quickly. As such, it’s a perfectly safe procedure and device.
