The Ultherapy treatment experience: What to expect during your appointment

Your procedure will be done in the comfort of one of our private treatment rooms. To begin, we will thoroughly cleanse the target site, apply the ultrasound gel, and place the Ultherapy applicator against your skin.

The Ultherapy device is equipped with imaging technology that allows us to visualize the underlying structures beneath the surface of your skin and determine where to administer the ultrasound energy. We will then deliver the therapy at varying depths in the treatment area.

We may recommend taking over-the-counter pain medication before your appointment to ensure a pleasant experience. It takes about 90 minutes to treat the face and neck, and most of our patients require just one session to achieve their optimal results. Once the procedure is complete, you will be free to return to work and your normal daily routine right away.

The results

Immediately after your Ultherapy appointment, your face may appear slightly red and swollen. You may also experience tingling in the treatment area. Your skin may be sensitive to the touch for a month. These effects will be mild and should subside within a few hours.
